Bob Maness of Pillar can't spin reality out of Pillar's situation. Pillar's fate is out of its hands. Pillar has burned thru $400m+ of venture funding, is not profitable and is not close to being profitable, nearly 4 years after GA'ing its storage platforms. It does not have a compelling value proposition (or complete solution) for mid-market customers with either SAN or NAS products.
